Getting important attachments to key documents into the hands of your customers or internal users has always been a bit of a challenge since JD Edwards doesn’t have the ability to print media object attachments with their related documents. This is frustrating because you have to manually print these out, collate and staple them with their related documents before you can distribute them.
Introducing PrintCue Attachment Printing for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
PrintCue Attachment Printing is available for:
- Maintenance Work Orders
- Manufacturing Work Orders
- Sales Invoices
- Purchase Orders
The PrintCue Attachment Printing dynamic dashboard displays the appropriate related sources of media objects available when printing out an order packet.
For example, when printing CAM work orders the maintenance scheduler can see where there are related media objects for the work order header, work order parts and labor detail lines, and the equipment header related media objects. Additionally, PrintCue allows customers to classify other attachment types to better allow planners and schedulers to prepare even better and more accurate work order packets, such as lock out and tag out procedures, work permits and inspection checklists.
No more manually printing and collating various documents into work packets by hand
PrintCue Attachment Printing handles a variety of media objects types such as PDFs, image files, Word and Excel files types, and URL links to your document repository. PrintCue Attachment Printing supports both BI Publisher and Report Design Aid output so you can specify your own specific order print formats.
You’ll want to see this for yourself. The first step is to schedule a demo.

Would love reviewing how this solution works with merging internal (JDE) as well as external (e.g. CAD drawing) documents.
